Setting
The University of Wisconsin-Madison is located in Madison, Wisconsin. A city with a population of over 200,000, Madison is known throughout the United States for its cultural and ethnic diversity. Surrounded by four major lakes, Madison is also known for its beautiful setting. The university campus, comprised of 10,649 acres and some 850 buildings, is located on Lake Mendota in downtown Madison, and is easily accessible from all parts of the city.
