SLA student Bingjie Zheng was awarded a Dissertation Grant from the Language Learning Journal in support of work on her project “Bridging languages and learning through English-Chinese immersion education? A comparative ethnographic case study of language practices and instructional discourses in two classes.” Bingjie is spending the spring in New York City collecting data in schools with Chinese immersion programs.
