At the recent annual conference of the Alabama World Languages Association, UW-Madison SLA program alumna Isabelle Drewelow was recipient of the 2017 Educator of Excellence Award. Congratulations, Isabelle! 

Dr. Drewelow is an assistant professor of French & Linguistics and French Language Program Director for Beginning and Intermediate Instruction at the University of Alabama.  She will be making a homecoming visit to the UW-Madison campus March 30-31, 2017, with a talk entitled Experiential simulation for the foreign language curriculum: Transforming learners into multimodal language users.
